Who we are
My Trial, My Future is a European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI) organized by a citizens’ committee under Regulation (EU) 2019/788. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you interact with mytrialmyfuture.eu.

What data we collect
Right now, before official ECI signature collection has opened, we collect: Email address, Country, and a Timestamp — via the “Notify Me” form. We do not currently collect names, addresses, national ID numbers, or any of the additional data that will later be required for official ECI signature verification (that will happen through the European Commission’s own certified system once the initiative is registered).

Why we collect it
To notify you when official signature collection opens, and to send occasional newsletter updates about the campaign. Signing up here does not constitute signing the initiative itself. Legal basis: your explicit consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Where your data is stored
In a Google Sheets spreadsheet, via Google Apps Script — meaning Google acts as a data processor on our behalf, governed by their own Privacy Policy and EU data transfer safeguards. We don’t sell or share your data with anyone else.

Cookies
Minimal essential cookies only; you’re asked to accept/decline non-essential cookies on first visit.

How long we keep your data
Until the initiative concludes, or you withdraw consent — whichever comes first.

Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, consent withdrawal, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national DPA. Contact contact@mytrialmyfuture.eu to exercise any of these.
